Optical module introduction
Optical communication plays an important role in the communication link. Traditional twisted pair and coaxial line lead to high loss and power demand requiring intermediate amplification with long wiring, and their bandwidth can not meet the requirements of communication. Therefore, optical transmission becomes more and more important. Fiber is the medium for transmitting light, and the device responsible for optical transceiver is called optical module. Of course, there is also a kind of optical transceiver device called optical transceiver. We first introduce optical module, and of course it is also called Bosa.



What is optical module?
The optical module consists of optoelectronic devices, functional circuits and optical interfaces. Optoelectronic devices include transmitting and receiving devices.
The light emitting part is called Tosa, the light receiving part is called Rosa, and the two together are called Bosa.
